1. Seller has sold Buyer the above named show potential dog/bitch, which is guaranteed to be healthy and free of debilitating diseases for $_______
2. The Buyer agrees to keep this dog/bitch confined from traffic with access to a fenced yard, proper shelter and adequate food and water, give proper love and attention at all times and provide regular veterinary care. The Buyer agrees to properly socialize puppy.
3. The Buyer agrees to have a veterinary check-up within five (5) working days of the Buyer receiving the puppy to determine that the dog/bitch is healthy. If the veterinarian determines that the dog/bitch is not in good health, the breeder will, upon return of the puppy at the Buyer's expense, refund the purchase price or replace the puppy. The Seller will furnish a written copy of vaccination and worming with a recommended continuation schedule.
4. The buyer agrees to register the above named dog/bitch with the American Kennel Club using the kennel name "J&P K9" as the prefix in the registered name.
5. This dog/bitch is being sold as a show potential animal. Buyer agrees to make a reasonable attempt to socialize, train and show the above named dog/bitch. If this dog/bitch should prove not to be show quality due to a congenital or hereditary defect and the Buyer provides proof that said dog/bitch has been neutered/spayed by a licensed veterinarian, the Seller will replace with a dog/bitch of equal value.
6. The above dog/bitch is guaranteed against hip dysplasia except for subluxation until the age of 26 months. This is to be determined by OFA between the ages of 6 months and 26 months. The eyes are guaranteed against PRA or any other blinding disease for a period of 26 months. The heart is guaranteed against life threatening defects up to the age of 24 months. This is to be determined by OFA certification between the ages of 12 months and 24 months. If the above said dog/bitch is determined to have any of the above mentioned defects, Buyer will replace with a dog/bitch of equal value after the return of the dog/bitch at Buyer's expense.
7. The Buyer agrees that no puppies from any litter resulting from any breeding of the dog/bitch will be transferred or sold to any person, pet store, dealer or organization whose intent is to resell, trade, give away or use in any laboratory experiments.
8. If the Buyer is ever charged or convicted of animal abuse or cruelty by any state, local or federal agency or the AKC, Buyer will forfeit all rights to above named dog/bitch and will immediately remand custody to the Seller. Buyer will not receive any refund of money paid to Seller.
9. No provision of this agreement may be amended without the written approval of both the Seller and Buyer. Violations of this sales contract may be detrimental to the reputation and value of the Seller's dogs and kennel name. Buyer agrees that any such violation entitles Seller to payment on demand of any amount equal of five (5) times the original purchase price.
10. If at any time the Buyer cannot keep said dog/bitch, Buyer agrees to contact Seller and return dog/bitch to Seller at Buyer’s expense.

1. Seller has sold Buyer the above named pure-bred dog/bitch which is guaranteed to be healthy and free of debilitating disease for $______.
2. The Buyer is buying this puppy as pet quality with limited registration. Puppy is not to be bred. Seller requests that the puppy be spayed/neutered about 1 year of age.
3. The Buyer agrees to keep this dog/bitch confined from traffic with access to a fenced yard, proper shelter and adequate food and water, give proper love and attention at all times and provide regular veterinary care. The Buyer agrees to properly socialize puppy. Seller highly recommends obedience classes.
4. The Buyer agrees to have a veterinary check-up within five (5) working days of the sale to determine that the dog/bitch is healthy. If the veterinarian determines that the dog/bitch is not in good health, the breeder will upon return, at Buyer’s expense, refund the purchase price or replace the puppy. The Seller will furnish a written copy of vaccination and worming with a recommended continuation schedule.

- We, the owner and buyer, agree to the following terms:
- The dog/bitch will be released into the custody of the Buyer on __________________ (date) and the Buyer will name the dog/bitch beginning with “J&P K9” and pay for all registration fees. The dog/bitch will have both the Buyer’s and the Owner’s names on the AKC registration papers. The Owner will release her name from the papers when the contract is fulfilled and the Buyer will own the dog/bitch outright.
- Any vet bills will be the Buyer’s debt.
- This dog/bitch is being sold as a show potential animal. Buyer agrees to make a reasonable attempt to socialize, train and show this dog/bitch. If this dog/bitch should prove not to be show quality due to a congenital or hereditary defect and the Buyer provides proof that said dog/bitch has been neutered/spayed by a licensed veterinarian, the Owner will replace with a dog/bitch of equal value.
- If the Buyer wishes to show the dog/bitch, the Buyer will pay for all fees. From time to time the Owner will be showing other dogs and may contact you to see if you would like to enter the dog/bitch into a show. It is not mandatory for you to show this dog/bitch, but the Owner would very much like for you to finish this dog/bitch as Champion before the dog/bitch should reach 2 years of age or is bred.
- The Buyer agrees to have the appropriate testing done on this dog/bitch including Hips and Elbow Dysplasia, eyes and heart certifications. Please send all results or a copy to the Owner for her files.
- Proper care and nutrition will be provided for this dog/bitch at all times as well as proper containment. Owner is available for suggestions.
- If the Buyer is ever convicted of animal abuse or cruelty by any state, local or federal agency or the AKC, Buyer will forfeit all rights to above named dog/bitch and will immediately remand custody to the Owner. Buyer will not receive any refund of money or other compensation to the Owner.
- This dog/bitch is guaranteed against hip dysplasia except for subluxation until the age of 26 months. This is to be determined by OFA certification between the ages of 12 months and 26 months. (OFA will only certify hips and elbows after the age of 24 months.) If the dog/bitch is determined to have any of the above mentioned defects, Owner will replace with a dog/bitch of equal value after return of this dog/bitch.
- The Buyer agrees that no puppies from any litter resulting from any breeding of the dog/bitch will be transferred or sold to any person, pet store, dealer or organization whose intent is to resell, trade, give away or use in any laboratory experiments.
- The Buyer is purchasing the dog/bitch with the guarantee to pay the Owner ____ puppies or the price of ____ puppies resulting from ____ litters the dog/bitch when he/she has been bred.
- If the dog/bitch should die of anything other than natural causes, the Buyer will still need to fulfill the contract with monetary dispensation at the agreed upon price.
- The Buyer has until the dog/bitch is 5 years old to fulfill the contract or the Owner will need to be compensated with money.
- No provision of the agreement may be amended without the written approval of both the Owner and Buyer. Violations of this contract may be detrimental to the reputation and value of the Owner’s dogs and kennel name. Buyer agrees that any such violation entitles Owner to payment of demand of and amount equal of 5 (five) times the original purchase price.
- If for any reason the Owner can no longer keep the dog/bitch, Owner agrees to turn over the dog/bitch to the Seller.
